K04's, ASP did the tuning. Last time it was on the dyno it made little over 400 (over a year ago) since then I've done test pipes and ER intercoolers.
You have any time slips of taking it to the track, I always like to see the slip to see how it does in different parts of the track or at least video of the car doing the pull to watch the speedo race! It's been unfortunate the B5 community has tarnished the value of vag-logging with newbs getting in there trying to make their car seem faster or better than it is by running in, shall we say, "encouraging" areas of pavement.
Also, you're brave letting ASP even touch the car, that's one company with way too many horror stories for me to even dream of getting in bed with.

Props for a solid running car, sounds like it'd be wicked fun to be in! Any pics or info on the build. I love seeing a GOOD B5 S4 build, when done right they're amazing vehicles possible of so many incredible things.

Have you personally had a bad experience with ASP or are you just going by what random people say on the forums? We deal with ASP on a professional level and have not had any hiccups Mark is a very knowledgeable person and always willing to help. My personal car is VERY strong and he did an awesome job on the tune, I have no complaints whatsoever and would def. recommend them to my customers.

For a 2 sec 60' you left a lot on the table after running a 11.7, but it's not easy getting the 60' down to 1.6-7 at all. You would of had a low 11 sec pass with a 1.65 60' time though! Almost surprised your trap wasn't a bit higher though, I would have guessed 127ish+ or so, what was the DA or temps you were running usually? I think Dan@JHM ran a 123mph on ko3's didn't he? Was that all on the Vbox, or were you just saying you've done Vbox and track 1/4 mile runs?
Personally, no, I was never in the B5 scene, but I have personal contacts that have had bad relations with ASP. I don't go around promoting bad press for them since I haven't dealt with them, but I was just a surprise to me to see your dealing with them. I'm glad you've had good experiences and hope they continue. It was just a bit of a curveball when I read it. But I know there's a lot of talk both ways that goes on through forums, but the experiences/knowledge I have about them isn't just random internet haters but by old B5 owners I know and their history with them.

Well I'm not quite sure what you mean by that, since it was his main DD with full interior (and jay's was 130+ something with full interior and audio system and driven by his wife probably more than him), but yes, it does sound quick.
I'm sure speed like that just gets intoxicating. I'd love to make it to a 996TT with some mods and be looking at 600whp easy as a DD. That would be a setup to me! Hopefully by next fall I'll be looking at 400+whp in my B7 S4. That should put me in low low 12's with a good run, damn u physics and weight haha!
