Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has picked up an A7 yet. I took one out the other day with the supercharged 3.0 and thought that it was pretty decent. Was hoping someone may have a bit more experience with them. thanks!

 

test drove the 3.0TFSI and the 3.0TDI a few weeks ago and was truly impressed (esp. with the TFSI), accelerates like a sportscar and the interior is sensational. great car and also much cheaper than its competitors (CLS350, 535GT, Panamera V6). still waiting for the S7 to decide on my next DD. here are some photos:

 

when will there be a 8 cylinder option. I can't drive a V6, or maybe the S7?

Beautiful car, plus audi interior is a huge plus.

 

The exterior is gorgeous and looks even better in person than in photos. However, I wish Audi would reconsider the decision of designing their new cars with pop-up MMI screens. It ruins the A6/7/8 interiors, IMO.

 

the screen looks kind of a big and extreme on the pictures. After sitting behind the wheel i have to say it didn`t. maybe because from the driver´s seat you are looking on it from a different angle or maybe because i was just overwhelmed by the whole interior in general .

 

It's not the size, but the fact that I prefer a more integrated in-dash solution. I've never been a fan of pop up screens in any car.

 

ahh okay, i think the problem for Audi began with the screen size they chose (6.5").
it´s one of the biggest screens in the mid luxury segment at the moment and i guess the next generation will get an even bigger one. (into the upcoming small-ipad direction which is 7")
i guess they didn`t want the screen to dicate the design of the dashboard (anymore), maybe an integrated solution would have ruined some technical aspects or the design of the whole thing even more. it´s just a guess tho.

 

stop worrying about pop up screens. I worry the car needs a v8 or something with about 420hp plus
