Red roof spyder opinions

Local guy has a black 2011 R8 Spyder with a red top. I feel like I'm stealing this car given the price we've negotiated, and I'm certain the reason for the low price is the roof color, as similar used cars on the market with black tops are asking $8-$10k more. I'm confident there is no other reason for the price (condition, miles or accidents). Just want to poll you Audi guys and R8 fans on your opinion of the color. Is it ridiculous to settle for a car at this price point because of a few thousand bucks? I kinda like it because it's different, but would likely not order it this way (the rest of the car is exactly how I want it). My car junkie buddies think it's cool as well. However, my wife isn't a fan and I'm concerned about resale. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Post some pics, if you can save $8K-$10K with the red top and it doesn't bother you then pull the trigger. And I agree that different is good sometimes, a red top I am sure looks pretty sweet.

I'm not a fan of the color combination and for resale it might reflect.

I don't like it but it's not horrendous either. What is the color of the interior is it matching the roof? If the price is right I wouldn't mind this roof color too much it's still a gorgeous car.

I think I'm punting on this car. If I loved it and the wife hated it, I would pursuade her to let me get it, but I don't love the car, just the price. I told myself that I will never buy a car that doesn't have all the options I want due to price, and this doesn't meet that requirement. I appreciated all of the comments.
