Got my new B7 S4...
Here's a link to pics on fotki. It's a dolphin gray/black 6MT w/ CF trim, nav+, bose/XM, sunshades, heated seats, and optional 18" 5-arm rims. I'm enjoying it...a more "mature" and smooth car c/w my stage II+ '00 B5 S4. Exhaust note is weak, tho...definitely will need to upgrade that. I think this should tide me over nicely until I can afford a 997TT in 3-4 yrs.

Looks really great, man! I didn't even know the B7 S4 was out yet... The new rear is all love for me but the front may take some time for me to get used to. The B7 RS4 front is the best I've seen yet.
The Dolphin Gray is fantastic, keeps it subtle and clean. I can't believe mine is already 2 generations old, damn you! Enjoy it.

I'm enjoying it a great deal...still only 470 miles though, can't wait to get through the break-in. I'll take some pics w/ the front filler plate, definitely improves the appearance of the grill. Am pondering painting the chrome grill surround black to de-emphasize the nose-heavy appearance a bit...just wish the car had the RS4 fenders to balance the nose.
Other plans include exhaust and some 19" rims...

Yes, I miss the pull of the turbos but I mentally prepared myself for the transition.
I wasn't expecting a car that felt as fast...the V8 is smoother and probably IS nearly as fast as the stage II+ but doesn't feel it. I try and keep it in perspective...I enjoyed the turbos for what they provided and now I'm enjoying the smooth power of the V8 for what it provides.
Don't get me wrong, I definitely plan on having another turbo car in the future as well as a NA one (maybe a 997TT with a C6 S6 or some combo like that) in a few years.
