any feedback on S8 ?

any s8 owners here with feedback. I am on the fence about swapping my alpina b7 for one but having a harding time parting with the b7 as it is so good. Any feedback on the new s8 from owners would be appreciated. Main concern is in swapping from BMW is that typical Audi understeer and soft steering /braking feel.

You should checkout the Audi forums like audi world, audizine, Quattroworld and fortitude. I am sure there are more, but I have been reading these 4!

Are you dissatisfied with the B7, bored with it, or just have a jones for the S8?
The B7 is a slammin' vehicle.

Have you seen the video comparing the two cars on Motortrend? If not, go to the website and watch it or look it up on youtube.
It clearly favors the S8 in so many ways, also ways you would not expect. It should however answer all your questions, until you test drive one.
Pics when you get it.

Its a wonderful car. I test drove one and immediately put down an order... but only because the one car I wanted in that price range... C63 AMG Black was not available and sold out. I happened to luck out and find a used C63 AMG Black that I wanted and cancelled my order, but I would have taken that S8 over many other cars.

I've seen a couple in person and they're just...blah. Don't know, but they're so damn big. 200+ inches long (a.k.a. 2 feet longer than an M3) and kinda boring looking to be honest.

Performance is incredible.

I'd be inclined to grab an RS7 if I wanted a big Audi with that motor. Far more exclusive, far more purpose built with performance in mind, and about 10" shorter. Certainly not a sporty sized car like an RS4 or M3 or C63, but definitely exciting.

Killer brakes, monster engine and quattro, all wrapped up in a very unique looking package with maybe the best interior on earth. RS7.
