Anyone have an A3?
If it were for you, I would say pop for the 3.2 all the way. I drove a 2.0T and thought it was a piece of crap, a week later I drove a 3.2 S-line and almost bought it, great car and I'm a big fan of the DSG.
But I'm with DJ, why a new car for the ex? Is she still putting out?

2.0T is enough, but get the DSG.
I had a 2.0 TDI 140 hp with DSG and S-line, Sportsback. Great car!
Also had the OpenSky roof, but I can't recommend it really.
At Essen they had a white car with black roof, looks great!

Well I traded in my FX45 tonight for an A3 S-Line 2.0 DSG... It's got Bose, OpenSky, etc. No nav, but that's not a big deal. It'll be my DD/winter car.
It's Misano Red/Black leather - I'll post pics tomorrow or Sunday.

Congrats. Great car. Great choice in color too. Doesn't matter what engine choice you made (both 2.0T and 3.2 have their strengths and weaknesses). The important thing is that you have DSG! S-Line A3s look fantastic!

Chris,
Really nice car. Love the S-line Audi cars, especially A4 Avants and A3's. Not a big fan of the A3 2.0T wheels, like the 18" 3.2 Sportline wheels much better. Some BBS would look great. What are your opinions on the DSG w/ 2.0T combination? Adequate power?

As for the 2.0T/DSG combo, it is almost perfect - I can't understand why Audi won't let us have a 2.0T/quattro car. It is very torquey (for what it is), very easy to mod and make lots of power, and the shifts are literally seamless. if you had earplugs in, you'd be hard pressed to tell when it shifts. Like I told some friends, it's like shifting a motorcycle - hardly any drop in RPMs or intertia in the motor. It just pulls and pulls...
Arling - too bad those wheels don't have the right PCD, etc. to fit my car.
