As of right now it is only available in Europe, but it may arrive sometime in the USA, havent heard anything concrete yet

It sure does look friggin awesome though. 1000nm of torque, oooh baby.

Ok, just did a little research.

Latest press release says that the V6 3.0 TDI (which will be a great setup btw) will be available in the US in late 2008. If the 12 cylinder comes here it would be sometime after that...

Perhaps some 6speeders with friends in high places can chime in...

That would be a kick *** SUV to have over here, I hope Audi does indeed bring it over. I love Audi's and always have but their time frame to get the cars over here is just plain ridiculous and disappointing. We always have to wait 2 years for anything good to get here. I believe I read somewhere that an estimated cost here in the states would be near the $100k mark which is going to be a tough sell for sure.
Time will tell the truth.

It looks amazing... defintely nicer than the Cayenne.

I definitely agree...

It is nice though that we are at least getting the 3.0 TDI for the time being.

I would drive a 3.0 TDI Q7 over any cayenne short of a Turbo.

Very very good...but I don't know if I'd prefer it against a Cayenne...expecially the new '08 models
