Oh, I think SCRMOM is available!
I negotiated a wig as part of the lease so I don't have to worry if any of my car-friends might see me.

Just out of curiosity, what made you change your mind? I noticed in the previous S8 thread you were.. how to say, less excited about it

It would suck if your "car friends" as you call them see you driving around in a S8. That would surely hate you for giving up your Chrysler Town and Country.
They are offering wigs as part if the package? Must be that option BLDY66 that I didnt want to check off as it didnt explain or show a picture of that option.
Kudo's to you for being so through.

It's a car I like in theory but have concerns about how it drives. No disrespect to BB, who considers a Town Car "sporty", but I need the car to feel "whole". Not too heavy, good torque/HP, right suspension feel, steering, etc. No way to know that stuff without driving one. I love the looks, the interior and the idea it's AWD but that stuff won't matter one bit if it doesn't come together right for me.

Who says I'm giving up the T & C? I'll take that out when I get tired of the oversized aluminum can. As for the wig, they bundle it in package XDRSSR, which includes size 15 stilettos and a girdle. I can't believe you went for the ****ty B & O but passed on the good stuff!

Town Car sporty, LMAO! Did I really say that, never mind.

Seriously though, I have driven the S65 (old one), the 7 Series from Bimmer for more than "test drive", more like a week each and none of them had the complete package as you said. The ride in the S8 in dynamic mode is firm, firmest I have yet to feel in a 2+ ton sedan, not teeth shattering firm just the right side of firm. The comfort is just that more comfortable, not A8 comfortable and plush but alot softer then the dynamic setting.
The 60/40 split for the Quattro is a welcome thing as the "push" in driving fast in corners is greatly diminished and the car goes where pointed, again for a sedan not to be confused with a sports car.
I wish we lived closer as I would gladly let you drive mine for a day, the only problem is that I would get a lot of dirty looks from the soccer mom with those ******* on the doors on your TT.

The things you describe are the right things. I tend to like firm in my car's ride, asses and tities on the door (some jiggle encouraged). The last S55 I drove wasn't good at all and BMW typically does a good job overall. I will eventually find a way to get behind the wheel, even if it means having to schedule a soccer tournament in your neck of the woods. That way, you could join the caravan and fit right in.

The benzes are sick fast torque monsters but their ride even AMG's sport setting is still isolated and fluffy. The Bimmers are more sport oriented and if you get some time behind the S8 you will see what a HUGE improvement the S8 has made. Def. let me know if you are ever in the Chicago are and PM me with your cell we will hook up if not for anything else to see some titty jigglying soccer moms.

I saw my justification for coming to Chicago: cruising near my hood on the back of a new RR HSE a simple bumper sticker in blue with large white letters and all it said was,
"SOCCER MOM". Now if I can only find where she bought it, I'd have no problem in making my way to Chi-town and performing a stealth late-night mission so BB's car will be appropriately badged.
