Better pics of the RS4

Finally got to snap some better quality pics of the new ride.

So far the consensus on the new car is , overall I'm pretty impressed with what Audi did with the power and handling. It puts a grin on my face everytime I mash the go pedal and hear the exhaust, not to mention its pretty damn fast for a big sedan.

Yeah, totally worth the price. Of course I bought mine slightly used (8000 miles) so I didnt pay anywhere near MSRP. But the way I see it, it has way more features then my C4S, its faster then my C4S and it was cheaper. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Honestly I felt the RS4 was going to be a downgrade after the porsche, but it has impressed me in every single department. I'm officially a believer, it really is a pretty damn good car.

In that case you are correct and i fully agree, buying a car like that with some miles and 2nd hand is the way to go, like with many other cars. But at its 75k sticker msrp i wasnt having it! Enjoy it , its the real life beauty and the beast

The US car prices have spoilt you I paid 84k Euros for my last E46 M3. The RS4 is just slightly more expensive here offering a lot more

I like the sinister way it looks in black, like it's about to gun itself off in the distance at warp speed.

gotta agree with Kem and i can say that given that i sold my 997c2 for it. the RS4, while difficult to compare to a 997, is an incredible car. the RS4 does not replace the sports car feel of the Porsche but it does offer so much more. for me it's the perfect daily driver and one which offers a huge visceral rush under load. as for the price? i could care less...the way i look at it i got a whole lot more for $72k than the equally priced 997 that i owned.

Milltek goes on this week.

have fun with yours, Kem!

received them today! hopefully will make some time to go have them installed at a local muffler shop, tomorrow.

non-valved, non-resonated.....why? the fine gents at stratmosphere suggested that they would be best if i were NOT going to add downpipes in the future (where most of the sound comes from). i spoke to them in great length (pete, greg, et al) and that is what we decided would be best given my wants (louder than sport mode and greater than a marginal improvement in sound).

regards

And if you change your mind, I've heard of people getting non-res milltek and then decided it was too loud, then paid $200 to get the resonator pieces sent to them. Which is pretty cool
