Traded in the B6 a4 for a 2007 B7 3.2L

Was driving by the dealer, took a 2007 3.2L w/sport suspension for a ride, compared it to the 2.0T, and bought the 3.2 w/sport suspension, conenience pkg, and Buetooth phone prep in Brilliant Red.
Wow is this car fast, handle excellently, and the brakes are way better than the cheap little brakes on my B6.
Due to the low milage and perfect condition of the car I got $2.5K towards the new car.

Wow that was quick! Enjoy it. The 3.2 is a very underrated engine and the overall package is a step up from the B6. We definitely love ours. Totally different feel than my B6 but mine is modded so it doesn't count.

The 3.2L w/sport suspension is VERY impressive, and much more impressive than my B6 1.8T. The 2.0T sounded almost like a diesel when idling- but my B6 is so quiet, and I didn't like that.

That "diesel" clatter is from the high-pressure fuel pumps... just like a diesel engine. I notice it too, but it doesn't bug me much.

Congrats again!! Post pics of that bad boy.

The difference is that the 1.8T/2.0T is very easily modded past the 3.2's output. The six-cylinder aftermarket for these cars is just about nil. I've always heard that if you're going to keep it stock, go for the 3.2, if you're going to mod the engine, go for the Turbo version.

Regardless, congrats on the car!
