Does anyone else find that these seats retain way too much heat in the hot weather? My Recaro seats are two-toned with white alcantara on the butt and back part and black leather along the outside. I find that alcantara does not "breathe" like leather. Anybody else with alcantara seats notice this?

 

I have all leather S4 seats...and my *** and back sweats like there is no tomorrow. I don't think it matters if you have leather or alcantara fabric when its over 90 degrees outside, you're going to sweat your *** off.

just crank the AC on a hot day.

 

I could really use some air-cooled seats.

 

Before driving off, just let your AC on full blast for about 3 minutes without you in the car, should help cool the seats down

 

I've found the recarro seats DO retain heat more than any seat I've had before.. I have a 25 minute commute, and every time I drive home my back sweats to the point the shirt is damp, and I'm a skinny normally non-sweaty dude.. Blasting the AC doesn't seem to help unless I lean forward out of the seat for half the drive home so my back doesn't touch the seat..

Glad to hear someone else agrees.. But I love the car, especially the seats when not blazing hot..

Thankfully I live in Seattle. The weather very rarely overpowers the AC.
