They are asking $40 over out here in San Jose. Just got a chance to get in one today. From the photos I did not think I would like the car, in person it is BEAUTIFUL.

 

Ouch! Thats quite a bit over. I talked to the Audi dealer I did an Oettinger car with, and he said theyre selling them for MSRP.

 

Yes, I agree too much. They said they had 25 orders, but may have one car that is not spoken for available within a month. The car really surprised me much nicer then the photos I have seen.

 

I cant wait to check one out in person. Gunna be a good test drive!

 

Not sure where these thingsgoing for 200? thats insane. i was second on a list, and got a call tuesday that i'm all set . and i had another dealer i do some porsche stuff with, emailed yesterday to say he had one fo rme. the buyer had backed out.

200? its not a low production car. they are talking like 4000 if im not mistaken.

 

I think the deal is BS, otherwise I would pick it up ASAP!

BTW guy's, all of my Audi dealers here in NY are honoring these R8's at sticker for their customers, well really anyone I think! I could spec one out right ow and have it at MSRP, and get it by next spring!

 

Yea but it is always the same deal. If you want to be the first on the block to have it and al the attention that comes with having a car that no one has seen before then you have to pay for it.

I only did that one time and it was for my Harley VROD. At least it was only $1000 over. I it did get alot of attention were ever I went.

My 2003 RS6 is ready to go, no waiting, at about $35K under sticker and they made less than 1000 of these cars.

 

If you happen to pick this car up you should really change those wheels...

 

ew...that car isnt even worth 89K...way overpriced even at that price
