I just took a 2006 MITSUBISHI EVO IX (i.e., GSR) as a trade-in. I sold the customer a 2009 NISSAN GT-R. This EVO is perfect inside and out. Just went over 13K miles. Previous owner is a retired firefighter and takes care of his cars better than anyone I know.

Car is stock except he added boost control, turbo timer, coil overs, rear lower control arm bushings, and a sway bar, and he replaced down pipe & exhaust (the catalytic converter and oxygen sensor still in place, so it will pass smog)

Wow, I forgot about this thread. Yes, I go to Moroso. I hve an apartment in Ft. Lauderdale and a home in Port St. Lucie. I just finished building the EVO IX RS. Bone stock block, head, and turbo the car went 10.77 Just bolt ons. I have a full build thread at evom in case anyone wants some reading. The car is expected to run 10.30's on the stock turbo(fully built motor now), 9.50's on a Forced Performance RED(stock appearing turbo), and in the 8's with a bigger turbo like a 6262. There are some nice pics towards the end of the thread. Its been a quite a build and has taken a little longer than expected. HBOMB, if you ever want to go to Moroso let me know....

wow a lot of good info's. I'm thinking of buying one as well, it's going to be my daily car to school. I would like to know which year and model should I buy. I might mod the car little bid but nothing crazy. I'm looking for reliable, fun car to drive around.
