no pay no play. $20K is a rounding error for people who own these cars. his man Cantrell is the best on the planet. currently doing steel 2nd thru 4th on my turbo. rest assured you will own an impeccably maintained GT3 that will only rise in value over time.
Thanks for the kind words on the car. Thought I don't think it will rise in value I think that it is in pristine condition and will make someone a great race car. If I keep it I won't be able to spend the time on the track this car deserves.
but who cares at this point if you don't race it enough.... the GT3 ~ your RS ~ is a street rocket and of course.... your favorite color. couldn't justify the I-Pod attachment in the racecar! should be a quick sale. happy new year.

Patience is what you have learned on the track so it's not a big deal to wait a little on this. Good luck with the sponsors I know it's hard to find them.
EDIT...I shouldnt have looked at cantrells fs stuff...that 2007 is STUNNING...
Does your car have a fuel cell?
Last edited by sechsgang; Jan 7, 2008 at 09:30 PM.
My car has a perfect fuel cell installed by Cantrell with one of his designs. What type of racing are you doing? This car was raced and spec'd for IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge last year and the car is exactly how Porsche Motorsports built it with the added fuel cell and Moton shock upgrade with camera's
well, IMSA GT3 cup was one, as well as wanting to do some rolex and to use PCA clubracing for practice...
Now that I know it has the fuel cell though...ugh...how was the car in the IMSA series for you?? What do you think the 08s really have over the 07? I know there is another 20 hp that scares me a bit...haha

IMSA is running two classes this year in the Challenge series. Not unlike the previous years when they ran 996's and 997's on the track together. They will run 08's vs 06/07 Cups with the $50k engine upgrade. They will also run all of the other 997's in the same race but having two separate class winners. I know at least 4 drivers that are not doing any upgrades and will run the cars as is. I thought the car was awesome. The cars are so good you end up looking like a Pro even without tons of experience. Your race experience will allow you to run very well in the pack with this car. I don't know if you have raced many of these guys but my learning curve this year was HUGE. The drivers in this series are the best I have ever seen on a track (1st hand experience). Controlled and skilled. The 08's running out there will have some guys in them you will have no problem racing with as well.

Ya, you're not the first to tell me about that curve...haha...it has me a bit weary but...no time like the present. Im glad they have a different class for that 08 cause I didnt think everyone wanted to just dump 50k into this thing just to compete...that said, it may be worth it if I have the funding. I really, REALLY appreciate your insight! Again, I hope to be calling you to purchase!
