I think it depends on the wrap and the design.

In this particular case, the image was an Ocean setting so the entire wrap is an image and the dark blue color of the car is nowhere to be found .
Some wraps are just logo's and such on a clear film where I would think the color of the car would show through.

I like it! I don't think your price is bad at all.

how do you think the A/C will hold up in Houston Texas heat being that its black on black? It may seem like a stupid question but here in Texas thats the first thing i think about when looking at a daily driver.

Ac

its hot a few weeks ago in LA when i got my car. i think it was around 98 to 100. the AC is really good on the car. also since its a small car so it cools down quite quickly unlike other cars. i drove mine a lot recently and here is my take on the car.

the car drive prefect under 80 mph. stable even going next to big truck (this is a surprise to me). when beyond 80 the car is a little nervious. the car itself will do 90 plus and can cruise at that speed for long period fo time as long as the car runs at the straight line. today i took the car onto the 110 freeway which is a winding freeway in LA the car handled quite good. i was doing the whole freeway at 70+

also my car has been giving me min 35 mpg and so far i got about 1300 miles on my car. also be sure to keep the air pressure a little lower than the recommended so the ride quality is a little better going thru bumps.

ps the can handles really good i tight turns in comparing to same class vehicle.

also did i forgot to mention that you can swap the color on the car ??

good question, i am in florida. yesterday it was 94 and the car stayed cool inside. i also have tinted windows. granted, after lunch i rolled the windows down to get the hot air out while blasting the AC. its such a small cabin that it works great. i figure if the AC can keep the car cool in florida heat, it can rock it anywhere.

sean, you are right on man with all of your observations.
yeah, the panel swap is an easy way to completely change the color of the car with the exception of the tridion saftey cell remaining black.

Forums are not the place to sell cars...put it on Ebay or Craigslist is my advice!

I sold the past few cars there with ease but most forum members are going to lowball by nature....just my 2 cents

i figured with all of the car enthusiasts on this forum it would be a great place to start.

i already had it up on ebay for a 7 day auction. it ended with a top bid of $18,600, short of my reserve.

Dude take the 18K and RUN. Trust me on this. The longer you wait, the lower the price will go.

Given the cars are still new and the price of gas, I am really surprised you are having trouble selling this car.

I want one, and would pay MSRP if it was the color and cab in Southern California.

Problem is that SMART gas mileage is a paltry 35mpg at most, and you can get the same from a larger more practical car.

True, but in urban areas where parking is tough - these little cars really come in handy! In NYC and SF, Smart Cars are kings of creative parking.
