Good point. Now I want to know what it is getting. I never check mine with the computer and do it the old school way. I get 16 city and as much as 28 hwy but it helps that mine has a 100 shot to put it to 550.

BTW they guy with his shirt off is still a tool

Exactly. My car still reads like I'm getting almost better mileage than when it was stock, but I know for sure that it's not.

If you are on a highway trip and cruising in 5th-6th gear, a blown car should get better gas mileage than one that is stock. I know my previous car with a Vortech did.

Not talking about blasting from red light to red light under boost......

The car sits around 1300 rpm at 75mph in 6th grear. I would bet that if not 27 mpg it gets close.

I have a 6 speed volvo C30 five cylinder turbo for a DD that barely gets 26mpg at 75. I'm not sure how you would quadruple the hp and get the same mileage.

Tall 6th gear.

1300rpm at 75mph.

That's barely over idle. Now consider the car is 3200lb with good aerodynamics.

Your C30 has a shorter 6th gear, weighs more, and has worse aerodynamics. I'd guess your rpm's sit at 3kish at 75mph.

Window on my my vette is 17/27 and I now have 450rw up from 330rw stock hp and I get as good as 28 hwy but only on long trips. On flat ground the car has the tq to pull itself long with little effort.

Its science ......

true. Most people dont know that when they do top speed runs with the vettes it's in 5th as 6th is too tall to pull at high speed with close to stock power.

If I can find the vid he did 135mph with street tires @ 2250ft alt. He missed 4th so if he would have gone back I would hope to see it in the low 140's.

The car was built more for driving and having the ability to run with sport bikes on the HWY. You can’t beat the look on a riders face when he finds out it's more than just another Z06.

A car to kill the kids on bikes in this college town is exactly what I've been looking for. At the corvette forums they talk about upgrading the tranny and shafts etc at these power levels. Any things like that been done?

A10Beav is infamous around these parts
Just because it has a blower and larger injectors doesn't mean it's dumping more fuel all the time. The engine displacement is still the same and it's going to cruise at the same low rpm.

This thing looks like a steal, I just wish it were a different color!

A stock C6Z06 gets 28 MPG in 6th gear on the highway, theres a good chance it could get slightly more. Please stop ruining this guy's thread if you dont have a clue. At 6th gear on cruise control at 1300 rpm, the mods for this car aren't going to affect it too much.

Correct, this guy is a "TOOL" because there is no way that the vette is getting over 20 mpg on the highway, my buddy almost has the same setup.

Go sell your car on the Vette forums.

Bye,
-Tool.
