Black/Charcoal 2006 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG with 29,000 miles for sale. It has the original factory warranty up to January 2010. Clean CarFax (a copy is available) with service records.

Nice ride...any one know how the 55 drives differently than 63? is the nav much better on the newer sl?

I don't think that you would notice much difference between the 55 and the 63. We have a CLS55 and it is rated at (max) 493 HP/ 516 lb-ft of torque with a Kompressor driven engine. The 63 is a normally aspirated engine with 503 HP/465 lb-ft of torque. As for the nav system, I would rate it as "adequate." My daughter's system in her Lexus IS350 is far superior.

I've driven the 55 and 63 motors and they are similar, the 55 has more low end torque for daily driving and the 63 requires more revs to feel the same amount of torque.

Don't forget about the simple fact that it's a lot easier and cheaper to make power with the 55. Forced induction FTW!
