I purchased this car back in Nov. of 2008 with the intention of racing it at PSCA, and entering it in car shows. Well, things have changed since then, and it doesn't look like I'll have the time to enjoy this wonderful car. But, it doesn't mean that I "need" to sell it, so please no low ballers, and I'm not interested on any trades.
The previous owner/builder, only made several license passes. Car has gone 9.66 at 138 mph on motor, and 8.90 at 148 mph with a small shot (150) of nitrous (time slips available).
I have only driven it once, and took it to the strip a couple of times. Without even trying, just launching the car off idle (not brave enough to use the trans brake yet), car has gone 10.18 and 10.19 (1.7 sixty) at 135 mph on motor, and in Vegas altitude/elevation (time slips available). Using the trans brake, the car is capable of making 1.3's sixty foot, so I am confident that the car will have no problem duplicating the 9.66 motor pass of the previous owner in SoCal. Only thing I have done was upgrade the copper head gaskets with multi-layer steel (Fel-Pro PermaTorque MLS), and I had the heads freshened up at that time. Car needs nothing, and ready for the new owner.

That car is INSANE!! I passed the post along to a friend of mine who may be interested, he had a pretty well built red '70 a few years ago. He has since built a pretty stout ZO6, but he has been keeping an eye out for the right Nova.
Thanks guys!
The motor makes about 650HP, and 800HP with nitrous. I haven't put it on a scale yet, but according to the previous owner, the car weigh about 2800 lbs.
I had the car dyno'd the day after I picked it up, and it made 550 rwhp on motor (through an automatic trans, more parasitic loss than manual trans). Take the motor HP, subtract at least 15%, and the power it made on the dyno was in line. We didn't dyno it with nitrous, because the bottle was empty, and I wasn't planning on using it yet.
CentsLess - PM me if your friend wants my contact number.
