Super Moderator: IMHO, i think you are doing a dis-service to the seller (and all other interested members) by not letting market info flow into the discussion ... how else does one forms an opinion on vehicles that are not "run-of-the-mill"?

 

Really, I don't mind the open discussion, I think it's a healthy way of discovering what is going on in the market. I know that the rules prevent some discussion, but in this case there wasn't any opinion that could be interpreted as an insult or demeaning. I appreciate your concern and I know you have a difficult job, but in this case, no harm no foul.

 

Good to keep an open mind. I think your car is absolutely gorgeous. It is not worth the risk on either side IMO. On the buyers side, if you're willing to pay $68k for a rare car like this, 2k really shouldn't matter and you will kick yourself if you miss out. Same goes for the seller, no one can predict the future price of this car, but either way, most will agree that unless it's the rarest of cars, they depreciate. Not to mention, you can take 68k and do something with it, rather than sit on 70k in your garage. Hope this car goes to an amazing home, she deserves it!
