2001 Audi S4, RS4 widebody conversion, stage 3 (reposting)
2001 Audi S4, RS4 widebody conversion, stage 3 (reposting)
Had two buyers who were about to pay, and both had financial problems arise. Reposting the ad, I'm only going to ask 35K now since I'd like to sell it on the next two weeks.
This is one of the nicest S4's in the country - there are maybe 5 other S4's as nice as this one. It's been built to feel and look OEM - has the speed of a 996tt, but a unique look that will turn more heads. Although some will argue modifications don't add much to the selling price, this car is not just a modified S4 you can find anywhere - it's almost a totally different car.
Details:
2001 Audi S4 Silver
6 speed
Sport & Comfort Package
84K miles - mostly long trips (several trips to Sebring, driven across country when driven home)
Former owner was Chad Block, currently a driver's coach, and a former driver, for ALMS. Car was featured on Fourtitude and in European Car. I should note that the purchaser would likely be able to obtain several sponsorships if wanted, as I have. The car had contributions from Stoptech, Bridgestone, H&R, and CPP, and currently is supported by Streetwerke in Palo Alto.
Recently had new plugs and diff seals, as well as a motorvac treatment. Mobil1 0W40 every 3500 miles, always warmed up and cooled down properly. Never launched, not once, and never tracked or taken to the strip. It has been a very reliable car - besides the diff seals, I've had 0 problems with it since I purchased it at 70K miles. The tranny was rebuilt with a new 1st and 2nd gear, and new syncrhos and sliders, at 50K. The stage 3 was not done until 55K, at which point the timing belt and water pump was done, so the mileage should not be a concern.

As an Audi enthusiast I can tell anyone interested in this car that it is the absolute nicest S4 I have ever seen. The mods are top notch and the RS4 kit is not anywhere near what you can see attempted on other cars, the widebody is truly amazing. If I could buy any US legal Audi this would be the one, I would not hesitate a second to pick this up if I had the finances! Good luck, GoWide.
