FS 2003 MB SL 55 AMG only 9K miles

we just got in in at my dealer, the car is gonna be 100K even. its silver, drop top, 9K miles. im located in Maryland. I know the owner of my dealer (family friend) so im trying to help him out and move this car, the closest one that i found was going for 106K so this is a pretty damn good deal. if you guys know anyone even remotely interested i would really love the help. PM me or email me with any questions or comments. egwin@winkelly.com is my email. thanks guys

What are the options? Have you checked autotrader and other internet car sites? 100k is not a good deal, try somewhere in the 90's. All sl 55's are convertible. Not trying to be a dick. i know of a 03 silver/charcoal with 7k miles keyless go, bixenon and cd collection can be had for $96,000. So unless the car your owner has is loaded with options he should think about lowering his price.

Yea, and trade-in value(wholesale) is mid to upper 80's on these cars................Quite a profit margin!

its at my dealer, that car was bought from an auction for 97k i dont know too much about MB so i dont know if its a good price, but all the ones in the area are right around that price. i found one for 95k but it has 23k miles on it. remember prices allways vary from state to state. the car is inspected and all so i mean thats one less hassel and it is on a dealer lot so its kinda hard to haggel price like you could from a privet seller, but im sure if anyone is seriously interested they could come in and test drive it then we could talk price with the main manager. and dont worry i know you dont mean to be a dick, like i said when it comes to MB i have no backround in them

A six digit value car that has gone through an auction is NOT a good thing to advertise.

Dealers only send these cars to the auction if selling them could potentially hurt their reputation and/or open them up to liability.

93k for a 03' SL55....and dealers in Florida are knocking $10k off their new ones. You can put two together and wish your friend luck.

On the other hand, people are(were) willing to buy a used/demo/still-smells-new e55 wagon with 1k miles at sticker because it's such a "rare" car........anything can happen I had once considered such "rare" wagon until I saw one "sitting" at the lot. I changed my mind because that does not give me the same tease as the RS4 Avant does to me. I sure hope they will get here soon.
