996 Tech A. Bumper From Speed Gallery
I am selling my TA Front Bumper from Speed Gallery. Same bumper on my 996. I ended up buying a TA Type II Front Bumper. Bumper is already primered and can be painted any color.
Comes with radiator ducting and front grill. Will fit an 996 2002 and above, and will also fit any 996 with 2002 headlight and fender upgrade.
Bumper retails for $3500, selling bumper for $1999 local pickup in So. Cal, or $150 to ship across the US to business address. Please email me at vincentw@cyangroup.com
Here it is on my car

Here it is in my warehouse in current condition ready to be painted.

great! just when I thought I had done every mod possible on my car and could finally start putting $$$ away for my cobra kit car, you have to go up and offer this hot bumper.
How do you guys think it would look with the aerokit II sideskirts & the carrera wing???
I've got the GT3 bumper now but am always looking for something new

Are you going to publicly state that the "techart bumper" you sold David at Proto-tech to sell to me was an original techart piece??? WRONG!!!
I have the "techart warranty" booklet that came with the piece - it is clearly counterfeit...copied...some parts not even legible. As for the bumper...clearly from the mold of an original piece. The bumper had so many areas that had to be filed down and re-worked. I watched as they strugled for hours to get it properly fitted fitted and was very disappointed.
You know the saying...you get what you pay for? Well I should have known. It's not a big deal...in the end the bumper went on and looked ok. However it shouldn't be passed off as an original piece.
On the other hand the original Techart GT Street type II I just got from CEC Wheels for $10k went right on and came with a real, original warranty booklet and is so different it's not even funny.
You're a nice guy Evan - don't lower yourself by trying to pass off fakes as originals.

BTW
As for the part numbers and Techart stamps....I'll show you what the real ones look like. They look totally different than the ones on your product which are clearly from a mold...a copy. The original piece has markings that are much more clearly defined than the ones you sold.

Second to the best of my knowladge the bumper is original and if its not I have some talking to do with people above me as I installed one on my car knowing (thinking) it was orig.
I appologize if I was wrong and somthing will be done about this if what you say is true esp. since I purchased one myself... However I did not notice anything wrong with my instructions and the bumper took no more work than anyother aftermarket bumper I have installed or sold...
Evan
PS- I do know Techart has changed their molds since your bumper was made which may account for this, but again I will get to the bottom of this... I have an email into the owner in Germany...

First: RWDRIFTC2: I appologize for threadjacking, but I must respond to this as it is a big deal!!
Now, Chris:
I have spoken in length with the owner of FVD ***** Brombacher. The Techart bumper we sold Prototech is 100% Original Techart!!! FVD Germany purchased a large quantity of Type II's when they first came out a couple years ago at a must larger discount than most others which is why we were able to sell these bumpers for less than anyone in the country. The bumper, warranty booklet and everything else you recieved is 100% Authentic Techart and was purchased directly from Techart in Germany!! All of the Type II bumpers require some work to make them fit correctly (ask anyone on this forum, including me). The reason your GT Street is different is it is a different/much newer mold. As for the booklet, they must have redone them since ours were purchased as we have not touched them in anyway.
AGAIN, THAT BUMPER WE SOLD PROTOTECH IS 100% AUTHENTIC TECHART!!
Best Regards,
Evan
PS- If you would like to discuss further please call me 954-977-7130 so we do not hack this thread any more!!
