it's not bad on the pioneer... it's still really nice...
but i've listened to the eclipse ones... just a little better...
hm... how do i describe it... the sound carries a bit more warmth within... w/o such sharp notes...^_^

If you are going to go with the eclipse go with the 5495 that is coming out or just came out. It has built in hard drive 30gb with built in hard drive navigation, its basically a 5435 with hard drive nav and other cooler features on top of it. Thats what i just ordered.

I might be interested in this for another car though, wuick wuestiuon the drive for the navigation is another one right, where did you install that and do you have a pic. Is it something that fits in a single din like a headunit, ot is it the kind that you have to put on a glovebox or somehitng?

Robert:
that's right ^_^
the car is already in the shop...
sending it there to clean up some cut wires and etc... and after the rodeo drive show (not sure if they'll use my car or others), we'll re do the gauge, and put the eclipse unit in...

here's the model model # with its MSRP

- 1 head unit (AVH-P7500DVD) + built in tv tuner
$2700
(this unit is better than n-2 for sound purpose b/c it has dolby 5.1 surround sound)

- Nav System (AVIC-90DVD)
$2300 + DVD itself is around $300
includes voice control mic, and dvd nav disk

- 6-disk premier model cd-changer (cdx-686)
$180
this is pioneer's premier line cd-changer

- xm w/ fee paid (GEX-P910XM) + XM Antenna (AN-91XM)
$200 and $80 for Antenna
(I believe I still have around 1 yr xm left, not sure)

- two remotes (one for nav, one for head)

After talking to my stereo guy, he thinks is quite a bargain... haha
all these for 1g...
I personally paid around msrp for Nav system, and around 2500 for Head and accessories...

so let the bidding start
start @ 1G, and buy it now price = 1200
+ all shipping fee (prefer local pick-up)
I fedex is gonna charge a lot for shipping for sure... and i hate wrapping...

wait time: when my new eclipse 5495 is here, it'll all be gone taken out and ready to be picked up @ Reus

Kev
