Too funny on Alfa. My boss (CEO) wants to relocate me to take over all dealers in Texas and launch Alfa US return with dealers in Texas. Love those vintage Alfas and Fiats. Tell me more about your ride. Dumb question what does the CPO warranty cover? Is it like a new car warranty and everything covered (major drivetrain, etc)?

Call me 248-259-5425.

Nikos what is the last full service that was conducted?
How many keys do you have and do they have the codes?
Tires, brakes, condition % left before replacement?
How any owners has this car had?
And you know all the general questions...

First time Porsche owner, although tons of book knowledge - really want this to be a great experience. Hence joining the forum and joining the local porsche club and already have home choice in Dallas (part of selection was how close the Porsche dealer was). Going to be a life long owner of this first car as it has sentimental value based on the road and sacrifices taken to get here.

Thank you in advance Nikos.

Bryan,

I'll give you a call tomorrow.

The Alfa is the reason I'm selling the Porsche. It's been in a restoration shop all winter and is hopefully ready at the end of this month. I need to get down to just one sports car.

Sounds like a good adventure selling the new Alfas in Texas.

The CPO covers almost all mechanical issues that might arise - drivetrain and engine, and certainly the IMS should that ever fail (unlikely as that is!). The good news is is that's it's through Porsche, which should make dealing with a dealer easier than a 3rd party warranty.

Here's a picture of the Alfa during a tour of Italy in 2005.

Bryan - last full service Feb 2012. Am about to take it for a service in May to get it ready for Spring (should Spring ever arrive in the Mid-west).

I have two keys - and both are coded. All handbooks, etc as well.

Tires and brakes should have at least 15,000 miles left. I can take pictures and send them to you should you want to see.

I believe I'm the third owner - and if you see this car, you can tell it's been well pampered through its life. I don't drive it if there is even a hint of salt on the road.

No mechanical issues have ever occured with me.

I'll call you tomorrow.

Nick

Nick,

Sounds good. And I feel your pain. Last winter for me (Michigan). And I must say wont miss it. Dallas roads are like glass and look fwd to screaming down all of them haha. You've read through my thread and I have cash on hand. Although you are ever so slightly ahead of my max budget. But have a nice piece for sure. Love the LED up fit. Lets talk tomorrow. How far are you from Detroit?

Nick,

I fly about 160k miles a year. That flight to O'hare is a skip and a jump. Love to co e down and take a look I fly out Wednesday night to Long Beach. If I were to take a layover at O'Hare Wednesday or Thursday can we meet to take a look? Then if its a deal leave you a deposit and when I get back next Monday get money transferred and fly in midweek and drive home in car. Lets talk through it tomorrow

Where in IL is the car located? I'm in Chicago (Lincoln Park) and would like to come take a look.

It was about 25 minutes from airport. Although extreme weather has made me miss my window. Now my flight has been cancelled out of Chicago. There was another car at Chicago motors that I was going to look at while here. Rain has messed that all up. Thank you Windy City. Trying to get to California to see another 2005 C2S with 26k miles. Atlas gray metallic. Really like Nicks black on black with full warranty to may 2015. Oh well, the right car will come at the right time. Can't let emotion get in the middle of the buying process. To many cars to just settle. Don't want a lemon or nickel and dime queen. Has to be pristine and solid no history. Next stop Porsche dealer and set watch sheet to find the right girl. Wait if I must - must be right.
