Goodmorning everyone. Well after four long months of attempting to find someone to assume the lease on my C63, seven out of seven applicants were all denied by Mercedes Benz Financial Services (who have been nothing but a nightmare to work with, but I digress). I can't keep carrying both car payments and I've found a gentleman from Miami that will be taking over the lease on the Porsche. What a shame. I loved this car. Broke it in gently. Detailed it every opportunity I got. I only got to enjoy it a mere 1,600 miles.
This was a fun community. Lots of knowledgeable, friendly people. I'll be back one day. But for now, looks like my main means of transportation will be this guy:

Wow - that is sad. Very sorry to hear. But hey, your alternative is not bad at all!

 

Yes a shame but wow that's a heckuva good consolation prize and by the time the MB lease is up, you'll probably have the entire 991 range to choose from and maybe you can try something different.

 

Two stunning examples of vehicles. Just think when your lease is over with the C63 you'll be back in a 911 in no time.

 

I can certainly empathize. Two years agao I lost my job, and had to make the decision to sell my beautiful '10 C2S cab. I sold it back to the dealer.
As with most of life's situations, all you can do is try to make rational decisions, and look forward to a brighter day.

But on the upside, your other ride is still pretty nice!!

 

You still have an awesome car to tool around with. I hope to see you back in a P car at some point. Maybe we'll hook up when it's time for us to pull the trigger on the new GT3.

 

Thank you very much for the kind words guys. I took the C63 in for it's annual service yesterday and forgot how much attention the matte black paint gets. Even my service advisor and the techs were all swarming around it. It was weird, yet flattering!

That does suck. I got really lucky and found someone to take over my 2013 M3, although BMW Financial has been a nightmare too, they keep sending forms that the CA DMV won't accept

 

Thanks! It is actually an original color. I was lucky enough to be able to pick up one of the 100 ever produced Edition 1 C63 Coupe. The color is Designo Magno Night Black. It is really stunning in person. Has a satin finish. Gorgeous.

Sorry to hear about your 911. But your AMG is a real beauty !

Is the matte paint much harder to take care of than a standard finish? Does it look dirty quicker and are blemishes much more noticeable ?

 

Love the C63! Why didn't you get rid of the merc before buying the 991?
