2003 Miata clean / track ready
Year: 2003
Make: Mazda
Model: MX-5
Price: $7500
Mileage: 69200
Color: Silver
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IL
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
I know is not an exotic or powerful car but is a affordable car to have fun on the road or track. The car has a clean title with the stock engine and 69,300 miles. The car is daily driven during spring, summer, and fall. During winter is stored in the garage and driven once a month to keep the fluids, battery up.
Most of the mods were done by me.
Tein SS coilovers (height and compression/rebound adjustable)
Flyin miata adjustable sway bars (front and rear)
949 endlinks
6UL 15x8 rims with 205 Bridgestone RE-11 (stored during winter)
Enthuza NB Speeder (Borla) Cat back exhaust
Boss Frog rollbar (SCCA approved)
HID 6000k
AEM filter
Radar Handwired
Also the car is the LS version which comes with the following options:
Limited slip differential
Big brake package
Aero package
Perforated leather seats
Aluminum trim
Cruise control
Bose sound
The car is in really good shape, the silver paint hasn't lost it's shine. There are small rock chips on the front bumper, and a scratch on the hood.
Overall is the best value for the money in terms of fun.

Today I took some photos of the car.
I am the second owner. I bought the car complete stock the spring of 2008 with around 33k miles.
During the time I added some add-ons the car was missing (beginning of 2011, 55k miles), like a good suspension setup, roll bar (hard top compatible), good sounding exhaust. The car has tremendous grip and nice sound.
I have never been with the car at the track, only autocrossing few times a year. The car was never abused, but well driven and under control.
All the maintenance was done by me, like transmission and differential oil change with synthetic Red line, synthetic motor oil changes, a cat oxygen sensor, and spark plugs.
There a few things that you should know:
The front spoiler has a little big of gap, got unglued (you can see in the photos)
There is a dent and a scratch on the hood, passenger side (you can see in the photo)
The front bumper has small rock chips
When the roll bar was installed the side panels had to be cut to accommodate the bar(you can see in the photos)
A screw is missing from the front license plate (tomorrow I’ll put one J)
The car will come with the stock shift ****, not the aluminum as seen in the photos
Even though I took good care of the car, it still has 10 years.
Other than basic maintenance and a cat oxygen sensor, nothing else had to be replaced. It’s a very reliable car.
Is funny because I got more compliments from people with my Miata than when I had my imola red M3. People really don't know much about the car, and confuse it with a Porsche.
The reason I’m selling it is because I have two cars (miata and an old Subaru for winter) and I want to have one car that I can drive all year and can fit my wife and my husky. I’m looking towards an Infinity G37xs.
I’m not in a hurry to sell the car, either I can wait until spring, trade-it in or keep it.
For potential buyers I have a free overnight hotel pass at Hampton Inn if you are coming from out of state.
