I'm a noob here, but not new to performance cars. In fact I've been a DE driver for many years, currently certified as an instructor, and am also a club racer. I'm just new to Porsches.
As some would say, I've now seen the light. I also didn't want to hijack anybody else's WTB thread (I already did once and was feeling guilty), so as redundant as this may seem, I felt it only fair.
I'm on the hunt for a 997 GT3 in any color other than silver. I really don't want to pay more than $85K, but depending on the car, I might be able to stretch it. Obviously, I would rather pay much less. It all depends on the history and condition.
I don't want a car that has, or has had, a roll bar in it. I also know what to look for, so cars that have had a roll bar in it will be passed up as soon as I figure it out.
I will be needing a PPI done by a 3rd party of my choosing before the sale is finalized.
If anybody has one available, please do post here, as I will be checking frequently. I'm a serious buyer with cash + pre-approved financing for the rest, and am willing to travel for the right car.
I've also cross posted on the other P-car forums, so rest assured I'm following those FS forums closely multiple times on a daily basis.
Thanks!
Nobu
It's tough sledding, I'm looking for a 997.2 GT3 as well....
I think there's a small disconnect between buyer's and seller's valuations and specs. Or a geographic disconnect (the one's that I was really hot on are on the other side of the country).

It's that time of year. I'm sure this polar vortex bs is giving people some serious warm weather sports car jones.
For me, I just sold my NASA GTS3 race car and I'm taking a hiatus from racing my own car, but in the meantime, I need a GT3 so I can have a fun weekend car that I can take to the track to instruct in.
My next event is at CotA in March. Love living down here. The winter vortex can kiss my ***, ha! :-)
911 GT3 for sale
I have this available to sell. It is my personal car, bought new in Florida originally & imported into Canada. It has a Porsche accessory roll bar, which I would assume was not factory installed. It has the nice Bi-xenon lights, PCMS radioénav, & Sport Chrono options. It may have been tracked in a previous life. It is in excellent condition.
I have a carfax report showing no issues.
Price is in Cdn $. IE at current US exchange, cheaper for you.

Thank you.
I would still double check, but i believe bringing the car back to the US would be mostly administrative, as it was originally produced for US market/sale. IE it meets all safety requirements.
i have used a broker to bring a vehicle into Canada, & can provide 1 or 2 known companies to check with. Lots of times they`ll give a package price that includes shipping & importation, making the process quite easy.
Let me know if i can help in any way.
