Yes, these cars are going over their original list price because if you order today it will be a long time before they have one for you. Generally, you cannot even test drive them at the dealer because the cars on the lot are already sold upon arrival.
A Dallas, TX local didn't know the car was for sale (but does now) and walked up to tell me he has one on order, but has not driven one yet. He explained that he actually ordered it about 5 months ago, but won't have it until January to March 2015!

I can concur, I was the LR Dealer in our city until a few years ago. ( partner bought us out)
As a result we still have Jag and LR products in the family. I've been looking to replace my mother's 2012 Range, and there's still a minimum 8 month wait list and the trucks are bringing well over MSRP.
I've been told that Fullsize Supers and autobiography that are more than 6 months old are being resold and exported to China for HUGE $$$.
