FS: CR SPOTLESS DI300 Car Washing System. Local Pick-Up OC, CA

Guys,

I have a CRSpotless DI300 de-ionized car washing system. It works wonders, even on my Jet Black car. T

he DI300 provides approximately 300 gallons of mineral-free, de-ionized water based on your input water quality. It consists of two 20 inch de-ionization housings that feature replaceable cartridges that simply slide into the watertight housings. The entire unit is mounted on a powder coated, rust resistant rolling cart that makes it convenient to move into position and store away when finished. All of our units feature a water purity indicator light that, when plugged into any normal AC outlet, shines when the de-ionization resin is still active. When the light goes out, it's time to replace the resin.

The unit is in good condition and I paid over 300 dollars + shipping for the unit. Pick it up for 200 bucks. This is the industrial size larger model.

With this system you dont have to dry your car. It dries spot free because of the de-inoized water. Just wash rinse and let it dry. You dont have to worry about streaks, water spots, etc. Makes washing a 15 minute affair instead of the normal 1 hour.

Dang, they really get you with the replacement cartridges - $99 for 300 gallons!

That's $0.33 per gallon. Assuming you're wasteful like me and use about 20 gallons to wash your car, that's $6.60 just in filter replacement cost

Then add soap, dressing, and replacement cost of towels, brushes, etc...for another buck or two. Take into account your labor for a good hour.

Sounds a heck of a lot more convenient to go to the car wash and use your $7.99 coupon.

20 Gs actually seems pretty conservitive, but I've never measured.

I do like it just wish I had a power washer because the pressure is weak. After I rinse the car with regular water I hook up the filters for a final rinse go have breakfast and then dry off the excess water. Can't beat that man.

Another tip guys is to use a leaf blower to dry the rest of the car off.

Use on that is over 200MPH. I vary rearly need to touch my car with a towel since doing this. It keeps the car scratch free and nice.

Can you use this filter system attached to your power washer or is the water output to slow?
