WTB: Your high(er) mileage GT3

Year: 2007
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $85000
Mileage: 35000
Color: any
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): PA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Looking for a higher mileage GT3 priced in the mid 80s. I understand fully that this means the car might not be 100% mint, may have been tracked a few times, etc and that is ok as long as it is maintained.

People will tell me to spend another 10k and get a great example and while I totally agree, I am setting a budget and sticking with it.

With all that out of the way, I would LOVE a speed yellow or white car but silver is good too. PCCBs would be great but not a deal breaker.

If you have a car or know one for sale, please let me know either here or email njs173@gmail.com

Thanks!

Do you think so? I don't fully understand why the election would change the GT3 market.

Are you looking for a 996 or 997?

I would be afraid of pulling the trigger on a gt3 now. Market seems way over inflated and bubble will pop when the next manual gt3 comes out....

It does seem a little high right now but I think if the market does soften a little, it won't be drastic.

I am a tech nerd so I apologize for asking this question, but why would the prices drop after the election? I too am looking at GT3, although I won't buy till Spring, but can someone educate me on some basic econ related to GT3 prices and the election?

John,

No one knows what's going to happen after the election. They are guessing and/or wishing.

The one common thread IMHO for successful in car collecting; great initial reviews, low production numbers, then a change in market perception years or decades afterwards.

Some guess right, some guess wrong... like the guy who predicted in his year book a couple of decades ago that the Cubs would win the 2016 World Series.

991.1 turbo and turbo.s are already coming down quite a bit
The depreciation on those is to be expected, however, its hard to justify 30k on a similar car (year mileage) when the TT & TTS has more Hp.
Drove them back to back. Gt3 puts a bigger grind on the face but not 30k worth IMHO
