FS: 06' BMW 550i

Black on Black 550i with Nav, Sport, Comfort Seats, Comfort Access, Premium Sound, Sirrius, etc. Job promotion means I will be driving a LOT more and I do not want to be putting 45K miles/yr on this car. Stickered for $67K asking $62K with 2900 miles. Let me know what you think and I will get pictures up later this week.

oh man , that sucks. why don't you just ride out the lease with excess miles and just trade it in early ? You wont' be liable for the .20 penalty to the bank then just the diminished trade-in value. Unless you're talking ridiculous miles then it doesn't make sense.

The car is located in Southern California.

I bought the car when I was travelling by plane a lot. Last week they moved me to managing the LA Sales office. Way more driving and no flying. I bought the car outright so there is no concern from a leasing perspective. I would rather get a disposable car for all the miles.

damn, if this were later in the year, I'd be all over this. I've been interested in a 5 series as my everyday car, but I won't be needing one until my new biz is fully up and running and I can quit my day job.

It is not about the money. It is just a waste to put 40-50K miles per year on this car. I also want something that I can get a carpool sticker for so I ordered a Honda Hybrid.

Unless your sales price is well under MSRP you might want to reconsider the asking price, as dealers in SoCal are perfectly willing to sell a new 550i at $1500-$2000 over invoice.

European delivery cars are $1500 over invoice, but they are holding the line on US delivery cars right now. I am $5K under MSRP for the car.

I can tell for a fact that unless you are friend or family or a serious repeat customer who ordered a car you can't get better than 2000-2500 over and allocation is getting worse, 550's are usually special orders

Well I'm not a friend or family and I was ready to buy one from a salesperson at Crevier for $1500 over invoice. I can tell for a fact that I am not friend or family of this individual, at least not that I'm aware.

I just did a euro-delivery today. I sold a 550i, $1000 over euro-invoice today. I try to take every deal, bad with the good, it all pans out in the end...
