New to forum - GTR Owner Considering a 993 or 997TT 6MT

Hey guys, new to 6speed. Long time lurker, finally just joined to inquire about some of the 993's and 997.1 TT's that are for sale... got an itch to get back into a manual and those are at the top of my list.

I've been in my current car - a 2013 GTR - for the past 3 years or so. I purchased it from the original owner at 3k miles (currently at 18k miles). Drove it stock for 2 years while researching + accumulating parts for a full bolt on E85 build.

Build includes:
  • Advan GT 20" wheels w/ Toyo R888 tires
  • AMS Alpha down pipes
  • AMS Alpha 3" carbon fiber intakes
  • AMS Alpha MAF block off plates
  • AMS wiring harness splash shield
  • AMS Alpha carbon fiber duckbill trunk
  • Rexpeed black chrome emblems
  • Fabworx non-resonated mid-pipe
  • Fabworx 4" straight pipe cat-back exhaust
  • ID1300 injectors
  • Visconti flex fuel kit
  • Visconti billet pump basket v2 w/ dual walbro 485
  • Visconti speed density kit
  • Visconti fuel pump hardwire kit
  • Ecutek tune ECM/TCM
  • P2M hood dampers
  • Full tint 20%
  • Front third 3M PPF
  • Mine's carbon fiber 3 fin grille
  • ShiftKoncepts paddle extensions

Notable mentions of some of my past cars include:
  • 1990 300zx TT
  • 2010 370z
  • 2009 Cayenne GTS
  • 2011 Evo X
  • 2006 350z
  • 1987 944
  • 1987 RX7 Turbo II
  • 1985 Supra ('Celica-Supra')

Couple pics of the Z cars...

Thanks for stopping by.. Be sure to drop a note if you / someone you know is thinking about parting ways w/ a manual trans 993 or 997.1 TT to get into a clean low-mile E85 GTR

I’ll have to dig up exact numbers but it’s in the neighborhood of ~630whp/620tq. Safe, conservative #’s to keep the motor and trans happy. Unfortunately, hasn’t ever been to the track.

I'm open to entertaining offers, but not actively trying to get rid of it.. just wanted to test the waters to see what's out there. If I were to sell, I'd be asking $70k for how it sits now.
