Selling my 997.2 Carrera S much sooner than I thought I would as an opportunity to upgrade to a 991 has come up.

This is the 2nd generation of the 997 which introduced the completely reworked DFI engine producing 385 hp and completely eliminated the IMS bearing issue found in earlier models. Honestly, the most important feature of this car is that it has a *manual* transmission. Porsche debuted the new PDK system in 2009 and prioritized those orders over orders with manual transmissions for a period. Combined with the economic downturn which cut production numbers greatly, 2nd generation 997's with manual transmissions are a rarity. Other improvements of the .2 refresh include an updated navigation system, Bluetooth, LED taillights.

This 997 runs flawlessly and is in great condition. Cosmetically the car is also in great condition though it does have the occasional rock chip from being a daily driver.
