Thinking About Buying an '09 Boxster
Thinking About Buying an '09 Boxster
My first post here, so be kind.
Looking for a DD to keep miles off my 2013 Supercharged 427 Corvette--don't need that level of performance, but thinking a Boxster would work well.
Considering a 2009 Boxster Automatic with 51,000 miles and clean CarFax offered by a non-Porsche dealer for $22,000. Does that sound like a decent price?
Before I travel 500 miles to check it out, and get a PPI, I'm curious if at 6'3" I'll feel cramped in the car?
Any particular issues in this year/model I need to be especially watching for? (I have run searches but not finding much)
Thanks in advance for your help!

I’m 6’4 215lbs with a good amount of seat time in a 2004 boxster.
I indeed feel a bit cramped. My vision is slightly cut off by the top of the windshield. I don’t know if the 2009 boxster is any different.
That being said, I only noticed how cramped it is while I’m stationary. It would bother me if I was using it as a DD, but once I’m driving it is so enjoyable that I don’t notice.
