WTB 2018 or 2019 Porsche GT3 Touring
Year: 2019
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $1
Mileage: 0
Color: Gray
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): VA
#2
FS: 5k miles 2019 PTS Gulf Orange 019 GT3 Touring; $250k.
This 991.2 GT3T has been lovingly driven by the AARP senior owner and never tracked, yet he simply used this car as (....wait for it....) A TOURING, taking it on long trips.
Car was properly broken in with a 2500 mile drive from pickup then PEC-Atlanta to Scottsdale Arizona.
No bodywork, no paint work and just completed full servicing at Porsche N Scottsdale so is ready to go for the new owner. Full XPEL Ultimate PPF installed from new but just removed and paint detailed so new owner can inspect OEM surfaces. All tinting easily removed at buyer's choice. This car is bone stock but includes P1 Designs $1400 orange pepita seat cushions with special memory foam.
During PPF install, we have found Porsche put several OEM hidden labels "PTS Gulf Orange 019" on interior body parts and can provide photo evidence of these secret historic PTS color ID plates.
Recently revealed, the ADM (Additional Dealer Markup) for 992 GT3 was announced at $40k-$100k, see below, plus a very serious increase in the OEM sticker price of all options.
This GT3 Touring is one of the controversial 218 GT3s that gained PTS but were moved to the end of productoon that rolled over into the first 3 months of 2019. PTS REQUEST was only open for one short week in July 2018 and after submitting the owner received confirmation from the German Mothership the very next month, on the exact day of his 60th birthday. Little did he know that the delivery date would be on the exact day of Valentines Day 2019.
To gain these late postions on the production line it appears Porsche moved them into production slots preiously relegated to GT3 RS cars. To manage this added inventory, it seems Porsche made a special exception in their production line by rearranging it and holding/moving GT3RS so that these 218 GT3 Tourings could complete as the 991.2 GT3 production line concluded. As such, each of the 2019 GT3 buyers received a title stating the car was a GT3RS (see photo of this car's title being a GT3RS). Owner has Porsche NA paperwork correcting this titling error and certifying that this car is and always was a GT3 Touring.

ScottM - thank you for posting this car...I was in (but admittedly would need more time to consider the color) until I saw the 'full buckets'. Had them in my 2018 and sold it for a 2019 with my preferred (much!) 18-way adaptive sport seats. Given the manic market for these cars, I'm sure it will sell immediately. Thanks again!.
