Testing the waters/ considering selling my 997.1 GT3.

This is a special car as it has many factory exclusive options and some tasteful modifications. The car is in great aesthetic and mechanical shape and doesn't need anything at the moment. It's had a clutch with the install of a lightweight flywheel (you can hear a bit of chatter at idle) a few years back and just had a fresh brake fluid flush late last year. It's had a few other items replaced through the years like having the coolant lines pinned and re-epoxied. This is great if you want to track the car. I never did so, but liked having the peace of mind that this was a non-issue. This has the extended leather package that covers air vents, PCM, air con, etc. with silver stitching to match the exterior color. Also has the air vent slats, seat belts, and few other items in silver to match the exterior theme.
The interior is in pretty good shape overall. The Alcantara is in fantastic shape, and the leather is smooth and soft.
The only exterior defects the car has at the moment are a small scratch in the rear quarter panel and some clear coat spots on the aftermarket mirror covers. I tried to grab photos of both and posting them here.
The exhaust sounds incredible on this thing... I get compliments all the time.

The car will come with an indoor car cover, two sets of keys, k40 remote, and full factory books. This thing has never been in a wreck, but the front bumper has been repainted and the front lip replaced due to the previous owner pulling into a parking curb. I can provide an up to date carfax to interested buyers and open to a PPI (at buyers expense of course).

Has anyone tried to buff or wet sand that scratch or is it too deep?

 

Not to my knowledge. It’s never bothered me enough to try it.

Easily worth 120k now if so. Funny how quickly things change.

 

Nah, 120k is still a stretch. Def worth something though. 3 months ago I missed an $85k gt3. Now they're 100k cars easy.

 

meh, just wait until market cools off, and it will. unless you have $ to burn, no point buying now. Almost picked up 348 today, but chose not to participate in the bid war.
