1999 Widebody SC 911 Cabriolet
1999 Widebody SC 911 Cabriolet
CAR IS SOLD
I listed this for feelers last year and never seriously tried to sell, well, now I am serious. It has just under 26,000 miles. There are over $75,000 in upgrades, the most noticeable being the widebody conversion. It was done by Patritti and is still shown on their website. I also added a TPC supercharger that has boosted the HP to over 350 AT THE WHEEL!!(standard is 240). The work was done by 3R Racing in Denver. The car has over $25,000 in stereo work including 3 chrome PPI PC 2600 amps mounted beautifully in the trunk, a JVC DVD/CD player, Infinity speakers, 2 Boston Pro sub woofers molded into the still functional back seats and 3 Farad Capacitors with digital readouts-also mounted in the trunk. The car has extensive carbon fiber work on the interior. It has also been lowered and comes with brand new Michelin Pilot PS2 tires. On the front it has 275/35 ZR 18's and mammoth 335/30 ZR 18's on the rear. The deepdish rims are made by Speedline. The car also comes with a hardtop(this comes with a Porsche holder). I just had it serviced and inspected and they replaced the Rear Main Seal so no need to worry about that. I am asking $75,000 OBO. I am not senstive and will not be offended by comments, so fire away. If you have any questions, pleaes email me at tjhh@valornet.com.

Car looks hot! Is that Guards Red? I remember seeing this up for sale a while back. Hope it goes to a good home. The conversion looks nicely done, love the interior upgrades.
Is that an Alpine nav? Also, any pics of the engine bay? Mileage?

First, congrats on a unique, nicely upgraded car. I know it must be tough to sell it.
Since you asked for opinions, I think you're about $15-25K high (if not more) with your asking price. Stereo mods will get you very little, unless an audiophile who loves your exact components happens to be interested in your car. Wheels/rims will bring you little (look what all of the tastely modded TTs sell for). Supercharger and widebody will bring you a few grand over an unmodified car - again, unless there's a particular buyer looking for the whole package.
But the bottom line is that the car is seven years and two facelifts old, and out of warranty. For comparison purposes, you should see what Vince's cobalt blue 1999 widebody, s/c show car sold for.
Good luck.

That picture is old, I have since replaced that Alpine with a JVC unit. It has 26,000 miles. Thank you for the comments and if anybody can help me, I have more pics, but they are too big to post and I cannot figure out how to make them fit. Thank you.
Unique sells. I know that... as I've sold many, many unique Porsches.
Cars that "Porsche guys" didnt like. But... the general public loved.
There's a foot out there for every shoe.
Look at Wicked Mororsports (works?). He has no problem (from what I've heard) selling those HIGHLY modified cars. Some of them look a bit sketchy as far as "over-the-top... to me. But they sell. And for top dollar. Nice car! ;o)

Thanks for the comments. This car is more about style than speed, IMHO and thus that is why not the Turbo. I posted the price hoping to get the best I could. You typically don't list the lowest price you would accept. Not getting defensive, just telling you my logic.
