Quick Background -
I purchased this car from a friend in Ohio back in 2010 where the car had about 21,500 miles. The original owner, who is an avid Porsche enthusiast, used this as his track car off and on during those years. He had a few choice modifications to the car, however nothing crazy. Since then, the car has moved around with me, from one garage to the next, being used mostly for porsche meets, cars and coffee and business trips. The original owner had 3M PPF installed over the headlights, front bumper, hood, wheel wells, and interior step areas. This PPF remained on the car until recently whereby it was removed due to aging and slight damage to the PPF, whereby paint correction (front bumper, hood, rear bumper and bumperettes) was performed and the car is now ready for the new owner to choose how he/she wants to protect the car going forward (too many options these days for me to choose for the buyer). Further information on the car below

- Fabspeed 200 Cell Exhaust
- Upgraded 6-piston GT3 Front Brakes (Original Owner)
- Porsche Short Shift Kit (Original Owner)
- Painted Center Console (Original Owner)
- Porsche Carbon Fiber Shift and Hand Brake. (Original Owner)
- Billett Diverter Valves (Original Owner)
- Aluminum Porsche Pedals
- Greyed Out Side Markers
- Silver Porsche Hood Crest
- K&N AIr Filter
- 19" Giovanni Chrome Wheels (separate from sale unless buyer wants them)
- Porsche Touch Up Paint (if you ever need it)
- Black Center Console
- 4-Piston Brake Calipers
- OEM Sway Bars
- 18" Porsche Turbo Twist Wheels
- OEM Headers
- OEM Exhaust
- 2 Porsche Keys
- OEM Service and Ownership Manuals
- OEM Porsche Silver Paperweight with VIN Engraved
- OEM Porsche 911 Car Cover w/ Porsche car cover bag
- Fuel Pump Hoses appears tangled, which results in gas gauge only showing 3/4 full, even after it's filled up, however the computer and obviously gas tank shows completely full
- I would have fixed this, as it's not too hard, but due to recent surgeries, I haven't had time or frankly the energy to get to it.. Computer works 100% properly though on mileage and everything
- There is a MINOR crack in the Drivers Side Rear Taillight
- There is a small chip in the Passenger Side Rear Taillight
- 18" Tires - Although these tires have less than 1000 miles on them, they are old and have been hanging on the walls of my garages over the years. We couldn't feel or find any flat spots on the tires, but their date codes are 2011 and 2012, so you might consider replacing these, at least relatively soon
- Glove Box Handle has small chip in Silver paint. Can be touched up with touchup paint that will come with the car
- NOT ISSUE - I left the PPF on the headlights as they were protected and I didn't see the need to remove it. The next owner can either keep this or add their own when they select how they want to protect the car
- The clutch went out in February 22, which triggered the now well sorted out car I have with me
- Tranmission was dropped , taken apart, refreshed a few synchros and bearings, however no major issues were found ($7500)
- Clutch, Flywheel and Pressure Plate Replaced by Porsche Southpoint in Durham, NC ($15k)
- EDIT - I had a lot of problems with Porsche SouthPoint, however one item that I recently was able to confirm was that SP DID NOT throw my service records away. Black Forest Racing in Denver, NC did. It is important that I correct that error with SP, as they did not throw the paperwork away. That said, I did have problems and continuous issues with Porsche of SP. As such, additional work was performed related to the clutch and all to repair the damage Porsche SP caused
- Oil Change ($500)
- Replaced Clutch Release Bearing ($800)
- Clutch. Disc, Flywheel, Pressure Plate and Flywheel Disassembled, Repaired, and Reassembled (~$4k)
- Transmission pulled to support above work and then reinstalled properly (Porsche SP did not install properly) ($1k)
- Front and Rear Hood Struts Replaced ($500)
- Front and Rear Brake Pads and Rotors Replaced and Full System Brake Flush ($4k)
- New Fluids All Around including Transmission ($1500)
- New Clutch Master and Slave Cylinders Replaced ($5k)
- New Hydraulic Oil Pump Return (damage caused by Porsche SP) ($4k)
- New Battery ($500)
- Replace Front CV Boots ($1500)
- Engine Out Review - Replaced a few aging plastic parts ($1k)
- Pinned Sharkwerks Coolant Lines ($4k)
- 4WD Alignment ($400)
- Addressed Brake Issue found not properly addressed by previous shop - Remove and Repair Brakes and Calipers ($1500)
- Brake Fluid, Fluid Flush, Bleed Brakes - ($1100)
- New OEM AC Exchanger and AC Refresh as well as cleaned out interior AC lines ($5500) - this addressed the felt issue that many of us have to deal with at some point
- Diagnosis and Replacement of Various Smaller Items like Oil Pressure Sensor which needed to be replaced (~$1700)
- Auto Dimming Radar Mirror Replacement ($500)
- Diagnose and Replace with New OEM Master Brake Cylinder + New Battery ($4k)
- Removed ALL PPF (except on headlights) - Painted front bumper, hood, rear bumper and bumperttes
- NEW OEM Front Spoiler/Lip ($800)
Selling Details -

- Sunroof functions as intended with no leaks
- AUTO Dimming Rearview Mirror (Radar Mirror Replaced with new housing and glass)
- Yes, coolant lines have been pinned - Sharkwerks Pinned Lines
- Spare tire and OEM Wheel Change Kit
- Included with this price is below
- OEM Parts as outlined above
- Other than the GT3 suspension, which I don't have the original turbo suspension, this car can be taken back to stock relatively easily
- All modifications included with the exception of the Recaro Euro GT3 Seats
- There is a copy of the CAR FAX included in the link below
- There is an entry on the CAR FAX, why I don't know, that recorded where the PPF was pulled off the car and paint was touched up. The car has NEVER been in an accident of any kind that I am aware of, nor should this entry even be in the CAR FAX (Thus I am challenging it with them). Bottom line though is that this entry shows the general areas where the PPF was removed and some of the respray was performed.
- Both sets of keys, service manuals, and the Porsche paperweight with the VIN engraved
- SEATS - Only the Sport Seats will come with the car at this price (seats have less than 5k miles on them and have been in storage all these years).
- I am happy to discuss price with the EURO Recaro GT3 Seats, or for both sets. Please let me know if you are interested in the Euro Seats and/or both sets
- Service Records
- UPDATE - I still have not been able to get Porsche of SouthPoint to provide me with the final receipt of all the work, however I am working on it. I uploaded all of the older receipts from work that had been performed, however there are still a few older missing receipts. I did oil changes and sometimes did plugs and coils myself, so not everything has a receipt. My log has almost everything though, including fuel fill-ups.
- OEM Parts as outlined above
- GT3 Euro Recaro SEATS - Unless the buyer wants these, which can be discussed, they will NOT come with the car. The Original Sport Seats, with less than 5k miles on them, will come installed

Thanks! Looks much better in person, hence the need for the new pictures and videos that I am working on getting.
DME report attached. First owner did track the car. I did not. After speaking with two different indy shops about this report, BFR indicated, as did Stahl, that the Rev Range 2 and last hit time, were caused due to faulty batteries and attempting to jumpstart the car, and could even have happened when one of the keys was reprogrammed. This can happen with these older 996's and since they do not report beyond range 2, there's nothing more I can show. The car hasn't seen more than 150 or so miles over the past 2 years and both BFR and Stahl indicated that while the battery replacements can and usually do cause these on older 996's to report rev range 2 hits and times, they both confirmed no rev limit was hit during their time and I haven't even come close to hitting the rev limiter since getting the car back.
