I'm assuming this would make the backseats unusable?

I recommend having this professionally install by Lucent. It's a real tight fit and shipping is *****.

Chris,
that's negative. th bar works best with GT3 seat since it's much thiner than the stock seat. it works with stock seat but not all the way back.

That's a decent price. The teq bar is good, but a bear to install. The one w/o the cross bar allows access to the back seats and use of stock seats/belts. When I sold mine, shipping was an issue, until I discovered greyhound, they shipped it crosscountry for like 30$. Good to know when shipping large, odd shaped parts.

evsmotors,
i afraid not for the cab. some mods needed to get it in there.

chris,
thanks. yeah it's not easy to install. i've seen people tried to do it but crack the front windshield. the reason why i don't want to ship it is because i'm worried it might get damaged during shipping.

If it gets damaged in shipping, it sure won't hold up to a car accident...

Does porsche make a roll bar without a cross bar that would allow use of back seats?

u won't worry about scratch the bar in an accident. but u will when u just pay some cash for it.

there's one without the cross bar. but again if u want to put a bar in it forget about the rear seats. for ur theory, u wouldn't want the passenger's head bump into the bar in an accident.
