I'm having a garage sale of 996TT goodies!!

As many of you already know, I recently purchased a GT2 and had EVOMS take the GT700 kit off of my 2002 996TT. I took my 996TT back to stock form and am selling all of the extras separately. Here's a list of what I have:
  • Porsche OEM GT2 intercoolers. $800.00 SOLD
  • Protomotive K24 hybrid turbochargers. I really don't know much about these at all, so I can't answer any questions about them. I'm selling them with the Greddy boost controller. $3750.00. You can find out more about them here: SOLD https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=47065
  • Techart type I rear wing (painted black) $895.00SOLD
All prices don't include actual shipping.

More info on the brakes:
The Front Kit is a Ti GTR kit and the rears are Gran Turismo 13" kit. At the time Brembo only had the front availible in the GTR Ti kit. That is why the rears are the Lotus calipers and the fronts are GTR's.

RennTechV12,

Is your front GTR kit different from the versions the Sharkster and VRAlexander are running? They're running the full GTR kit all around (F&R). Their kits cost $12.5K retail (new).

I'm just wondering how and why your kit costs $16K. This post is not intended as a flame.

Thanks.

As a charter member here and moderator, I feel it is prudent to clarify a few things here that pertain to the advertised GTR brake kit that is for sale. I am doing this in the interest of our members so that they are aware of what they are buying.
  1. The front calipers are genuine hard anodized GTR calipers with titanium pistons
  2. The front aluminum hats are genuine GTR hats
  3. The front rotors are not GTR components. They are from a Brembo GT kit. The GTR kit uses slotted rotors. The GT kit uses cross drilled rotors.
  4. The rear calipers are factory 996 Turbo calipers painted to match the GTR calipers in front.
  5. The rear rotors are actually factory 996 turbo rotors. They are not floating rotors like the actual GTR kit.
I trust this allows our members to make informed purchasing decisions.

Incidentally, this information is right out of the Brembo representative's mouth after viewing the brake component pictures.

Thanks for doing all the research required to revive this old, dead thread, however, the members won't have to make any "informed purchasing decisions" about these brakes as they have been sold.
