Wanted: Eastwood Fender Roller or Similar
Wanted: Eastwood Fender Roller or Similar
Seems like a few buy the Roller, use it, then sell it on.
Does anyone have one for sale (or similar)!
And no I really don't fancy the bat method

I've looking for fender rolling tools last couple weeks. Most of the tools cannot fit with Porsche 5X130 bolt patten. Usually they were good for MB and BMW. You can buy the Porsche spec. roller from CEC, FVD but I think they were well over $1K. Me and my friend try the old school "base ball bat" fender rolling tonight. It was easier than we thought and it work.
Sure they do Ray, I bought mine a few years a go for my BMW, NP and it worked fine on my TT as well. Mine was a copy, cost me 300 USD. You may have to bore out the center hub part which I did with a dremel tool but it worked fine. I modded mine so it will fit any import car, Honda etc..so far I have been able to make mine fit on any car that I have rolled, I rent mine out locally in Kelowna and sometimes do the jobs myself for extra cash.
Yip! you can get them now for about $249 from Eastwood http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...emType=PRODUCT
See, if someone has it I will buy it off them, then sell it to another forum member and so on, so on! lol

I actually have Eastwood tool on hand. But the problem is the circle plate to bolt on the hub was not big enough for 130mm. You can't mod Eastwood to work. I think Ben have another band of roller. Also I believe Zippy have one work with Porsche and he may interest to sell it after his fender done. Good luck anyway!!

It was like the one sold by Tirerack, not really made for the 130 mm of the Porsche, holes did not exactly line up, but I made it work. I think I used the holes for the screws that hold the discs on, or one lug bolt and one of these holes, don't quite remember. Went very slowly and it worked fine. Talked to the guy about him modifying a tool, just need to drill out the hole on the plate slightly, but I guess he has not done it. But you can make the tool work, I did it.
