Oh my! Thanks for posting that! I just called him and we are $2k apart. I may give in if he doesn't! Let's just say I'll be staying close to my phone and hoping he gives in to my offer!

White sport seatbacks too... not my style but pretty cool. I might be able to go take a look at it for you. I'm in NY and I think it's in NJ. Let me know.

 

Thanks for the offer to do that. He bought it and has had it maintained at Paul Miller Porsche and I'd probably have a PPI done there. It would be helpful to have someone paint meter it. If we can close the gap I may take you up on your offer and fedex you my paint meter.

Let me know - Paul Miller is a good dealership - they might even be able to meter it.

 

those grills painted white in the front is horrible and so is the white center rear console piece. so terrible. other then that nice car. makes me miss mine when it was stock.

Nice car, white is really nice, esp when modded, but I agree the center console is overkill IMHO.

 

Agreed. CF console and steering wheel are already on the way. The white vents are going to have to go as well--both the ones on the exterior and in the dash!

 

You are right, the dealer should be able to meter it for me as part of the process.

Regardless, you can borrow mine any time, just let me know... It is the least I can do for pointing me to this Turbo!

 

Love everthing on the car, but the the wheels and grills! Reminds me of our old TTcab! Love the painted pieces in the int! Throw some black rims on there and lower it and its done

Thanks Evan, That car is/was SICK! I love those HRE's even though I'm more fond of Fikse's. I was considering ordering the Profil 5S in black for it.

Someone told me there was an identical 996 with the same miles running around that was a lemon buy-back. If this car was a lemon buy back, wouldn't it show up on the carfax history report? Here is the copy of the report. I think I'll have my local dealer run the vin just to be safe!

Awesome car!! Of course I am bias towards white..given that the car has such low miles that is an awesome price. When I had my white 996 Turbo I think maybe once I saw another white one. Here are some pics:

 

Conrats! I love white in the 996...this one has geat complementing options too! As for the CarFax question, I'm pretty sure it would come up as manufactures report things like that. Check on it just in case though...

 

I love the white center console but would not have till I saw it in person. I have it on my White GT3 and it's really nice..
