I know, I am still torn, and not sure if I'm doing the right thing.

Got any pals with one? I have some here and having driven theirs (back when I was deciding between the 996TT and Modena) I made my mind up. I just felt more comfortable driving fast in the P-car. You've got to rev a good deal higher just get that available Torque in the F-car. A great work of art no doubt and just depends what you want to do usage-wise.... I drove one of the earlier F1 trannies and it was really cranky. Just like the Maseratti that I drove. I would do a 6 speed if you do.

I would hold off. The Ferrari-engineered 4.2L V8 in the Maserati will debut soon in its un-restricted form for the Modena, probably good for ~500hp. Modena/Spyder prices will take a dump when this happens in a year or so... then again, you only keep cars for ~3 months, so it really doesn't apply to you I guess
