thinking of getting a range rover as a daily driver. i have read that RR seems to have lots of problem. wanted to see what you all think? it will be my only car and DD car so i really dont want to need to take it to the shop often. will buying a pre-owned one recommended? what problems do you seem to have with your RR and will you consider it as minor or major? thanks for your opinions

I have not had any problems with mine. I am selling a 2006 with 14500 miles in Santa Monica if you are interested for $58500. Pics here:

I am buying a new home and need to free up the cash - If you are in LA you know how expensive it is on the west side. I have a few cars and don't need this one but I have to secure the new home!

Sounds good. Yes, I sold the 22" Overfinch wheels to my friend. It has the original 19" OEM wheels/tires (michelin synchrones) and they are as-new since I took them off when the RR had less than 100 miles on them and I just put them on about 2 weeks ago. Warranty is 4 years / 50K miles from May 2006 purchase date when I bought her at Hornburg Land Rover on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood. Serviced at Hornburg Land Rover in West LA. PM me or email at rio AT riozilla.com if you want to discuss further and arrange time to see her.
Rover is a SWEEEEEET ride....my wifes DD....she loves it and wont drive anything else...this means I get the Carrera every day! Its funny people think when you spend more money you are paying for reliability, but you are not, you are paying for technology, materials, build quality, comfort and capabilities. With that said, you cant buy a more comfortable, capable, hi tech, luxury SUV.

For some reason Newport Beach RR has 2 leftover brand new 2006 models. They are giving $15K off MSRP, but would probably come off more.
The differences b/t the 2006 & 2007 are subtle, but I think they tweaked the '07 just enough for me to want it.

The car is two years old, in terms of model years - I'd hope they would give that kind of a discount at least.
If you can get a 2006 with zero miles brand new for 60K you should take it!
Mine is still for sale though
