I am selling my FVD Race/Straight Pipes off my 2002 996TT as I moved back to Orange County (Irvine around) and will get pulled over in very short order with these things on. I loved the sound especially when I opened it up. I'll have a picture up in the next few days but you can go to the FVD website to see what they look like. Will straight pipes set the CEL light off on a stock X50?

 

I had them on the car for about 500 miles twice (for two track events). My car did not throw a CEL light either time (I have the stage 2 giac flash). I think that it would throw a CEL light eventually but the car wont go into limp mode even if you do throw a CEL light.

The pipes bolt directly onto the turbos and then go out to the edge of the bumper where you attach the tips.

Not all that much drone as it is really loud...it sounds the best when you are 3,000+ rpm (I got compliments about the sounds when I was at the track).

Essentially all the straight pipes look like mine. Yeah, the sound in your clip is how the turbos sound. When I used to live in Vegas and was driving around in Vegas with these on, the cops didn't even give me a second look. I'll do $200 for local pick-up either in So Cal or Vegas. Let me know if you are interested Rob.

 

I'm tempted! Will my exhaust tips fit on the pipes, or do the pipes terminate with just a raw end?

Is Vegas included as local pickup? Will you be back in town anytime soon?
