Just to set the record straight (I get annoyed when a single off hand comment gets repeated so often it becomes a 'truth')

Kevin made a SINGLE comment on Rennlist that he observed an X50 that had a larger opening in the portion of the exhaust that has a "clam shell diffuser". (Note that this is a descriptive phrase that describes a section of the exhaust and not a part that you can buy.) He then went on to state, in a latter post clarifying that the X50 and non X50 exhausts are INTERCHANGEABLE, and that in fact there may be NO difference and what he observed might have just been a normal production change as Porsche made an inline change to the interior of the product as time went on.
