Thomas-how is the 997 Short Shifter? I am still considering swapping out of my B&M... How does that 997SS feel compared to a B&M or 996SS? Any feedback? How does it compare to the regular 997 shifter?

Free bump!!!

Hey Kalon, I'm glad you asked.

I've used the B&M, 997 regular, and 997ss.

The B&M was short but not very smooth, and very notchy feeling.

The regular 997 is shorter than a regular 996, but not short enough for my liking. Although it is smooth as butter.

The 997ss is perfect for me, short shifts, and as smooth as you could expect it to be. Has a more stock feeling to it.

Awesome, that's what I was hoping to hear. I may have to pick one up...

Do you have a part number? Where did you get yours and what do they go for if you don't mind me asking? Feel free to PM so we don't cloud up your thread!
