Common Questions
I've been receiving a bunch of PM's--so I thought I'd share some of the common Q/A's:
Q: Does this fit a non tt?
A: This air intake only works on a tt.
Q: Did this cause your car to run any hotter?
A: I've driven it for only about 500 miles and during this time, the ambient temperature here in Pittsburgh has increased. All my temp guages read in the normal range even under long, heavy-load driving.
Q: Doesn't this draw hot air from the engine bay?
A: Maybe a little. The snorkels come down on the air intakes very close, so I think a lot of external air is being drawn. Plus, the carbon fiber heat shield does block a fair amount of the engine bay.
Q: Did they offer any "butt dyno" gains?
A: Somewhat. However, I bought these primarily because the sound is just so amazing with these air filters. The turbos and boost dump sounds are captivating. They also look amazing installed with the carbon fiber.
Q: Will you take $X (X < $650)?
A: I'll take any reasonable offer, but am in no hurry to sell them.

After some constructive PM pricing abuse, price reduced to $550 + $20 shipping. You'll spend ~$1,000 on a brand new set with taxes and shipping. Again, only 500 miles and absolutely like-new condition.

About 2 days left on the eBay auction for this system. Bid sitting at about $130 and I have 12 people watching this item.
For those of you not as familiar with eBay, with this many "watchers", I suspect this price will shoot up to $550 or above seconds before the auction closes.
So for anyone either watching the item, or who had already bid, I suggest doing the "buy it now" for the $550 if you really want this system. Otherwise you may be quite dissapointed in having your high bid "sniped".
