FS: AWE HJS 200 cell cats for 997/S (new-in-box)

i am putting these up for sale again. i would LOVE to install these on my car but the Tubi exhaust i purchased requires the use of factory cats and sport cats + Tubi = not a good combo.

these are new and never installed. AWE sells for $1645 + shipping

i will drop $200 of the price so 1445 + shipping

everything is included to install this on your 997 or 997S

i would LOVE to run these cats but Tubi website says the mufflers are designed to run with stock cats. member IanUk also tried it and said it was loud and not so nice sounding

apparently, the stock mufflers are some of the best to use with the awe cats. member RonCt said they sounded "intoxicating" and a little too loud when he tried the cats with awe mufflers. Pm him if you like since between him and Ianuk, they have tried every combo known to man

I have the AWE cats with Stock mufflers, and EVO Headers, the system sounds awesome, and the cats are the only component in the exhaust that really makes a difference for performance.

your stock mufflers are the key to your wseet sound. tubi + awe cats not so good

I had the AWE Cats with the EVO mufflers and Headers, that sounded awesome, but it was too loud for the tracks sound level requirements, so I switched back to OEM. If I turn the mufflers to sport it is very loud again, but not the same as the EVO mufflers.

yep, its the very loud part that i cant deal with.

some aftermarket mufflers are designed for stock cats and some are designed for sport cats. if you cross them up its either too loud or too quite.
