Want to buy front stub axles/tension bolts for 996TT to replace my front half-shafts, for 2WD conversion.

(I know I can separate the stub axles from my existing front half-shafts but I prefer to keep the originals intact).

Does anyone know if GT2 stub axles fit the TT hub? They cost about $45 each side and if they fit, I feel that's a very efficient way to go rather than chopping up the CV joints on the TT front axles.
